I watched a youtube about the binding process, which included the tilting of the aircraft, I'm not sure I was quite violent enough with it, but I'm not going to re-install the old receiver to find out....

New (to me) receiver received today, installed, eureka, by jove I think I've got it! Bind to aircraft!

ok, all requisite tools found and checked, disconnected the receiver from mainboard. Checked continuity between board solder points and connector. all wires check out.

the receiver looks to be shrink wrapped with some pretty thick plastic, cut that off?

is the receiver down under the main board? I would have to disconnect all the motors?

Oh, hex... ok got the top cover off, slightly pulled the connector towards off, and pushed it back in, everything appears to be seated well. No change in led.

Well, heck my tools, no torx small enough. So it will be a while before I can dig in.

Was able to get away from chores long enough to peek through the battery compartment. Looks pretty well seated. Pushed on it a little. Didn’t seem to move. Haven’t been able to get away long enough to test. Will probably have to dive into it. Probably Monday. I really appreciate the assistance!

Tilted it forward and back to level for 4-5 minutes leaving it position for a second or 2. No change in the frequency of the led.

Yes, I see a strobing orange led.

6-8 times almost a full 90 degree tilt, no change to the LED

no change tilting the drone. still fast blue flash.

I have not put a card in the camera as of yet, not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I have tried the refresh button. Drone shows orange only briefly, then starts a fast blue flash, beeps every 30 seconds.

shutdown drone, controller, added the camera back, brought everything back up. I went into the "pad" and joined my house wifi.. I tried the web, and google works. went back to the home screen, bound my camera, back home, I have wifi, and 5.8 signal, still no drone to bind.
