It sure does. My Nikon d3x did the exposure value notice like you said. But it does show up in the jpg.

Is very very sneaky in the photos. Look at the photo on the right. Blow it up, and look at the sky in the background. It only happens in the very bright, over exposed parts. Anything white, or close to it. It's aggravating, but can be fixed with photoshop.

I am having the same issues with my Q. It has been this way since day 1. It is the 4k version. It only seems to happen on over exposed parts of the photos. I have just decided that i can fix it in edit software instead of sending it back and not having my drone.
