Thanks for your help PatR. The blue light would do a slow blink coupled with a quiet click sound. Tapping the screen in any instance would not bring up the battery state image. Time to return and exchange. Cheers, Mim

Hi Ron, Thanks for the picture and advice. Mine looks the same but it did not appear that the connector could pull apart. That said, thinking about it now I realize I should have applied some pressure to see if it would separate. All academic now as I am on my way to exchange the ST16.

I've looked in the battery compartment but did not notice a simple connector. It seems that there are wires running from the battery into the case. Thus would need to open the case to find where the battery connects to the system.

I purchased a new Typhoon H and followed the directions for charging the ST16 controller. However, when I push the button to 'on' the blue light blinks slowly but the screen never opens. Am I missing something or is the controller/battery defective? Just don't want to return for exchange and...

Hi. Never flew a drone before but bought the Typhoon H yesterday! Is there an in depth user manual available anywhere? The instructions that came with the H are extremely basic and I would much prefer to study more detail before my first flight. Thanks in advance.
