I am attempting to either add my own cells in side the OEM case, or use the connectors and latches for other custom battery packs. Why would I be asking for them if they were of no use? really?

I've checked the batteries with a meter in another post. they are balanced and charging up to 4.20 volts. I do not think it is a battery nor charger issue I think it is a current hungry drone issue at this point.

I believe you, I just cant imagine what is wrong with this one to get such short flight times. second cycles of new batteries increase about 10 seconds each ( up to 5:40)

How would I know? I would think a higher draw or short circuit would quickly take out the ESC, but im not super familiar with the insides of this particular beast. it flies fine, was bought used here from user Slawson

these batteries must be old stock I guess, but the higher rated Gifi were less good. brand new props, no guards NO recording, only hovering with mininal corrections in the driveway im literally 15 feet away with the controller.

first report with two new OEM 1150 mAh yuneec branded batteries these are the very first battery cycles assuming the ebay seller was truthful ( batteries did look new) battery #2 started at 100%, flight lasted 5:15 landed at 15% battery #3 started at 97%, flight lasted 5:30 landed at 15% all...

I ordered two of the green and black labeled Gifi 1700 mAh from amazon @ about $35 each they both lasted about 85% as long as a 1 year old OEM yuneec breeze battery rated at 1300 mAh ebay has the oem batteries for as low as $26 each

Keep in mind, my stock battery only gets 5 minute flight times ( it is a year old, bought used, so who knows how many cycles) It has been hot here, 90+ F, that likely makes a difference too. Ive got two more new but oem stock batteries on order to compare with after returning the Gifi junk.

I bought 2 of the Gifi 1700mAh batteries from Amazon last week. 10 flight so far, longest time is something like 4 minutes and 15 seconds, to autoland ( 5% battery indicated on breeze app) the year old OEM battery lasts longer than that, as a comparison camera off, just hovering. they SUCK...

I installed brand new props 4:54 on the OEM battery... so even less ( wind or temp must be playing up here) also opriginal props had (A) or (B) with a 25 replacement props from white box in kit, had A or B with a 15 on them? any ideas? maybe this one just eats batteries. about 1400 feet...

I just tried both new GIFi batteries down to auto landing ( 5%) 5 minutes plus a few seconds I guess Ill google how to swap props the typhoon is easier in this regard haha

OEM battery, ( in some slight rain) took a few photos, hovered until I got bored 2 minutes, flew around the yard... took a few more photos 4:47

I just cycled the GIFI batteries a couple of times each, and charged. ( breeze app showed 29-30% when I landed each time) they are gaining time, up to about 3 minutes and 12 seconds now... but still a LONG way from the 9 minute flight times people are talking about. DoomMeister.. fresh out...
