    I did before posting, and found nothing useful as to what mission item or mode setting was required to actually take off, instead of just arm motors and time out on ground.

    Currrent master of QGC is connected to the MantisG I see video, telemetry, all is apparently fine. I can't make it take off. In mission, (first item is takeoff) it will start motors(not take off), then timeout and stop - not even with stick input using virtual joystick. Without mission...

    Linux PC. Reasons: Still be able to use controller Better range than stock antennas in a laptop. Ability to use QGC as GCS, and fork live mavlink stream, and video to OpenCV and machine learning.
