I had sluggish, non centering gimbles in my ST16. The Typhoon would barely rotate at all in the air. I use "Corrosion X" with a hypodermic needle on the lube ports and pots. Also lightly coated all the ribbon connectors and anything else that involved intermittent contact that I could find...

I had the same problem. Even bought a new battery but same result. Batteries discharged instead of charging. Problem was resolved by cleaning the micro usb plug and socket with "Corrosion X" (tm) electrical contact cleaner and changing usb cables.
