Greetings, I'm a singer, musician & songwriter from the famous Muscle Shoals area.Most people around the world know me for being the lead singer for "State Line Mob", the southern rock band I formed back in 07 & for owning "The General Lee".
I had a auto accident a few yrs back & due to a hip, pelvis & leg surgery, I had to put music on the back burner for a little while & only perform shows here & there. Until last year, my main hobbies were riding my Harley & shooting some pool until I finally got into the multirotor hobby about 6 months ago when buying the Hubsan H501s quadcopter. I got 3 batteries for it & got an hour of piloting in a day, everyday when the weather permitted for a month straight until I got the experience & knowledge I needed. Heck, I've already completely took a part & rebuilt my first Hubsan.
The Yuneec Q500 4k had been on my wish list way before buying that Hubsan but... It was pricey & too be honest I didn't think I needed the beast to learn on. I stalked the q500 & the H everyday time I went into Best Buy which closed it's doors a few weeks ago. I still have the photos on my phone from going in there,lol. I was going in there so much, I finally took some pics to gawk over. I read & watched youtube videos & learned a great deal before I finally made my purchase.
I've owned my q500 for a week now & man I'm loving it. What an awesome bird to fly. I've only got just a few flys in & haven't got into the special features yet. But I wanted to jump in to the Yuneec community as soon as I could. Maybe I will chat with you sometime. Thanks for reading.
