Yuneec USA Inc to lay off staff

I see what you did there.

    Congrats! How was it?

    flying back to back

I usually burn through 4 batteries back to back with the only time in between just the length of time to swap batteries.

Yuneec Tornado H920- Return of the Hex. (It never went away.)

Mentioned a bit, but not previewed.

    Typhoon H520

Camera, yes. Battery, motors and arms, no. Why would you want to cut it up, void warranty and potentially build a dangerous situation?

    Typhoon H520

$2500 - 3000ish, US, per the conversation with Yuneec.

    Problems with edited 4K footage

It's a FCP issue. The most recent update seems to have done something to export presets. The same settings I've used in the past on 4K Typhoon footage now cause the skipping/stuttering that you described. Example here: It's minor, but it's annoying.

    Yuneec CES 2017 Recap

Sorry for the delay in posting my recap. I recorded just over half an hour of interview with Brian Grant from Yuneec at CES. It took longer than expected to go through it and write up the highlights. I focused mainly on the Typhoon H and H520. Not much on the new cameras as they were covered...

    CES 2017

Just spent time with Brian Grant from Yuneec. He answered a lot of the questions from above. I'll write up a summary in the next day or so. In response to the size difference between the Typhoon H and the H520, see below. Bigger motors, slightly longer arms. There will be bigger props too...

    CES 2017

Not completely sure. There was a Yuneec guy standing nearby when I filmed it and I was about to ask him to describe but he wandered off. It looks interesting and I plan to dive further into it when I go back.

    CES 2017

Aaaaaand the demo flier just fouled a Breeze in the netting. There was a fair amount of cheering. Even the pros can do it.

    CES 2017

IMG_0613 by ReusableSausage posted Jan 5, 2017 at 8:03 PM I'm at CES. I'll go through the questions posted above this evening and relay them. Saturday will be my "spend lots of time in drone land" day - we're just passing through right now. Ask away before then and I'll collect everything...

    Typhoon H fliers at CES?

Any Typhoon H-ers going to CES in January? I'll be there again. It would be great to meet up with some fellow pilots. On a related note, I intend to spend some quality time with Yuneec. Anything information I should try to get out of them?
