Why do threads keep getting closed at the whims of the admins on this site?

I'd like to add comment, as I originally posted in the CES thread. Firstly, to be 100% clear, I want to buy a Yuneec product. I really like the idea of not having to buy a DJI product. I think their market dominance is unhealthy and I wish there was more competition in the market-place. I'd...

    CES 2017

Tuna, I am a commercial UAV pilot :-) for me battery life and airframe are very important, but that counts for little if the camera is mediocre in performance, which unfortunately the CG03+ is.. To quote Yuneec's press statement - CGO-CI's longer FOV and edge-to-edge distortion-free lens...

    CES 2017

I've got to say I'm really disappointed at Yuneec's 2017 announcements and the complete lack of detail and facts behind it's CES news releases (why isn't the Yuneec websire showing more facts and info?) At the end of the day the drone itself is totally secondary to the camera it's carrying (the...

    Global gimbal mode in CC

I spoke with Yuneec UK CS to ask if reversing the function was possible. The answer was no, but fwiw they did say that it would be a very useful option to have and that they would pass this onto their R&D guys for consideration.

    Global gimbal mode in CC

I used to fly a Russian aircraft (full size), where the artificial horizon worked the opposite way around to a western aircraft... down was up and visa-versa, I ended up being able to use the AH whilst flying.... but with very sweaty palms and an accident waiting to happen....deep seated...

    Global gimbal mode in CC

Ref >>Some folks just can't learn new things<< 25 years of flying full size and RC aircraft, mean that my brain firmly equates pushing a control stick forwards with a resulting downwards motion...or upwards if you hold the stick forwards long enough...:-)

    Global gimbal mode in CC

Thanks again guys. It's soooo frustrating :-) in that a software change to allow an option, to invert a function like this would be very quick/easy for Yuneec to impliment.

    Global gimbal mode in CC

Hi Pat, Thanks. I don't yet have a Typhoon H, but am considering buying one in the New Year. Hence the questions :) The Global pan mode using the right hand stick is a deal breaker for me, in terms of stick forward = camera down is the only way my limited brainpower will cope

    Global gimbal mode in CC

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Are you 100% sure? I posted the same message on RC groups and they said >>In Global/CCC, forward stick is down, aft stick is up. Although I have not altered mine I believe you can make adjustments for sensitivity in the Channel Settings menu using the...

    Global gimbal mode in CC

I wonder if any Typhoon H pilots out there can help me with understanding the following please; When using Global gimbal mode in CCC, with the right control stick now controlling the tilt and pan of the camera gimbal. 1. Which way does the camera tilt move when you push the control stick...

    Typhoon Foibles (if any)

I'm in the same exact boat as you Dave...and had the same discussion at the UK drone show about the 'new camera', so will be interested to hear the views and experiences of Typhoon H owners on this forum. From web research, it seems that the CCC mode is more primitive than DJI's capabilities...

    Typhoon H questions

Thanks for the offer. Anyone any feedback to the first two questions please? Cheers

    Typhoon H questions

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a Typhoon H in the new year and have a few questions I wonder if you can help with please; 1. CCC - If I invested in a Typhoon H, I'd plan to do quite a lot of aerial filming using the CCC mode. I really like the idea of manually controlling the camera pan/tilt...
