No, as fux posted erlier it will not work. Use his already modified firmware for the TH to upgrade if you already updated to latest E version. If you still are on the old firmware version, just go ahead and update with the latest A version firmware from yuneec.com. HOWTO: Update EU to Standard...

No more loss of video signal at close range (30 to 50 meters) which occured quite often before and took about 1 minute to get video signal back again, very annoying. Made a quick movie of my upgrade from E to A. It looks like it went successfully. Made a quick flight this afternoon and the wifi range seems to be improved compared to E version. Also no more loss of video in close range.

Came back from holiday yesterday and I also updated from E to A version, no problem at all. Has now an A after camera version. Checked signal strength on 5GHz with wifi analyzer for android. Signal boost compared to A version was not significant though. I had a lot of videosignal loss at close...
