Option to make a repair on the Typhoon H GPS/Compass V02 Module?

Hi folks, I have multiple Yuneec drones, including several Typhoon H's. I have made repairs to many of my drones including replacing various components requiring soldering, etc. This Typhoon H is the one that I prefer to use for survey flights and it has been great. Recently, it developed a...

    Yuneec owners out there?

I started out with a Typhoon H which I have always enjoyed flying, but I still use one with a CGO3+ for sequential videos of construction sites due to the utility of repeated CCC programmed flights. I use a Typhoon H Plus especially for better videos and better resolution still ground shots with...

Need some advice about a weird E90 camera experience today????

Thanks for the advice. Sometimes the simple things are the answer. I cleaned the contacts for good measure, but they looked OK. I took a look at the flight log. There weren't any sudden events, just that I stopped and returned when the screen image went weird. If the weather holds up today...

Need some advice about a weird E90 camera experience today????

Take a look at this file. It was shot in 4K, but I downloaded it to a lower resolution. I was doing a "prep" flight for an upcoming survey with one of my H520's. I just wanted to be sure there were no obstacles at the 60 meter survey altitude. Flying in angle mode, I was taking video and...

For what is that "defect" part of my H520?

And @WTFDproject is correct. There is no LED under the cover on the bottom of the H520.

Need help with CGO3+ camera issue

Update on the CGO3+ that was injured in a fall to the floor (UGH). With the help of @Vaklin and especially incredible advice from @WTFDproject, I got the CGO3+ back in service! Turns out after a good bit of work, I determined that the problem was a bent U-frame from the floor impact. I tried to...

Need help with CGO3+ camera issue

The "drone right" angle has been true all along; nothing new. When the camera is not "energized" all of the gimbal axes move with complete freedom; no feeling of binding or resistance. When the camera is "energized" and it stops at 30 degrees, it buzzes very softly. If I try to cause it to go...

Need help with CGO3+ camera issue

I need some diagnostic assistance with a new problem with one of my CGO3+ cameras that I use very frequently with a Typhoon H. I have had it several years. It was repaired by George after a crash (tree encounter) several years ago. It has performed perfectly since then. Unfortunately, I had the...

Unusual fly away without loss of Typhoon H (thankfully!)

OK...once I got home and the results of the hurricane subsided, I was able to fly the drone in order to best duplicate my past experience. The CCC completed as usual without any problems. I intentionally did not close the CCC program and depressed the left stick fully for about 4 seconds. The...

Unusual fly away without loss of Typhoon H (thankfully!)

Well, as usual, you guys are very knowledgeable and great detectives. In very little time you had this sorted out; amazing! I look forward to getting home to try the sequence of events again to confirm what seems to be the correct explanation of what actually took place (but this time with...

Unusual fly away without loss of Typhoon H (thankfully!)

When I get home next week, I'll fly the course and then intentionally try to initiate a reverse CCC. If it responds in the same way, it would explain things. I'll give an update then. Thanks, Stephen

Unusual fly away without loss of Typhoon H (thankfully!)

Tom, I'm not sure what would cause it to do that, or more importantly how to avoid it, but as you note, it did seem to retrace the CCC in reverse. The RTL executed along the CCC path as demonstrated in your photo. Awesome analysis; I really appreciate it. Now perhaps we can see why it happened?!?
