Retired US Marine Helicopter Mechanic. My wife and son bought me a drone in 2013 for my birthday (UDI 818A) and I've been hooked ever since. I took to the hobby like a fish to water. Active drone pilot since 2013. I've been a Yuneec fan since my first purchase of the Breeze about 5 or 6 years ago. I now own the Breeze, Mantis Q, Q500 4k, and Typhoon H. I also own many other brands of drones. Not a fan boy for any specific brand but tend to gravitate toward the underdog brands since they are a little less expensive like 3DR Solo, Parrot, Powervision, MJX, Hubsan, Ehang, and FIMI. I was inspired mainly by watching YouTube videos from Quadcopter 101, Soul Force Quad, Perth West Oz and RC Escape back in my early days of flying. I love to fly and try to whenever possible. I've learned how to fix many of the drones I own, through sites like this and by trial & error. I don't know everything, but I know enough to stay flying.
