Well, first of all: the Breeze is out of production. You can probably buy it somewhere, but I guess there is no real support for it anymore. The flying of the Breeze is limited to a height of 80 meters (~240 feet) and distance of 100 meters (~320 feet).
It can both film in both 1080p and 4K, but...
And another mail:
Sorry, it is 52MB and can´t be send via Email
We are working on it in order to get it onto our website
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
So, we will just have to wait for a while, and watch the website ...
I got an answer from Yuneec:
Hi,
the App was taken off. We are working on it to get it back on.
We could send you the App
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Ihr Yuneec Service Team
(RMA System: Welcome!)
You are right. It is not there anymore.
I sent the following mail to [email protected]:
Hi,
I cannot find the Breeze Cam app in the Google Play store anymore. It is gone. Why is that?
Gr. P.
Maybe you (and others) can send a mail too?
If I take a photo from my Breeze the coordinates of the place are stored in the properties of the photo.
Mind, this is the position from where the picture was taken, not the exact position of where the RC plane is. So, best is to take the picture right above the plane.
I remembered that I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (GT I8200N) lying here, and I checked/tested it on that.
I can connect to the Breeze via wifi (I did not fly), but when trying to connect the controller to the phone I get a short pop-up screenmessage "...@_@..." and then a black screen. The app...
I've read that some Iphones (!) only work with the Breeze Controller when the smartphone is set to Airplane mode. Maybe a similar issue with the S5 mini?
Maybe you could check this?
Mind you: the phone communicates with the controller through Bluetooth; not through wi-fi. Please check that...
I tested the app this afternoon again (the blue clone) in an area with no disturbance of any kind. I did not expect however that I would reach the new geofence of over 600 meters !!!!
I recorded the attempt:
Enjoy! ;)
