i had the same issue that lasted on and off for 6 months, finally sent the camera away twice for repair before getting a new one. New camera has never had the same issue.

My E90 has done that many times, been back for repair to yuneec and still did the same, its finally gone back this week what will be a replacement i hope as the gimbal is now dead.

Looking forward to the new update, i have just received my E90 back from Yuneec UK, very quick as always. lots of issues with it disconnecting, lots of wavering when filming and then just plain going nuts every so often and spinning itself around whilst banging off the motor stops!! hopefully...

good idea. I seem to have found a good base of using Precision mapper, Autodesk Recap, QT reader and the very complex QGIS at the moment, seems to work well for me.

after the camera default reset all seems OK, tried 5 times now to disconnect and start the system and every time has been ok. hopefully i can do a full flight test tomorrow. my problem now is the maps wont download to the offline memory, any suggestions on setting the cache and memory sizes...

Mine is now all sorted and connected, i did a default reset from underneath the camera. i didn't know how to do this yesterday so thanks to Yuneec UK for helping on this today.

i also tried the default password (as i have never changed this) and no luck, no connection at all. the update worked perfectly BTW, no issues doing it all Over the air, worked fine for the two days before our site job. a very curious situation.

i had the same problem, got to a site for inspections yesterday.......camera wouldn't recognize any passwords at all, so i had to pack up and come home, spoke to Yuneec today about a reset, so hopefully i can do this later. the bird worked perfectly the day before, even after numerous shutdowns...

The RTK upgrade looks really interesting. And i never saw the E90 zoom coming. Cant wait to get the new updates on, and finally do some easy 3D building mapping.

At present our home build, is a self fabricated carbon fibre airframe, running stock 900 motors (1100mm tip to tip), it's built as a heavy lift but the centre board is s900. Now we have proved the test bed we can think about upgrades, M600 motors are a possible, our frame is more than up to it...

I agree about the X5, im not a big fan of it, the quality isnt that good, focus is also a big pain in the behind. X5R is the way forward if sticking with this spec, but im currently manufacturing a gimabl unit that will carry my bigger Canon DSLR, the looking to use our works A7Riii with that...

just to add. when i ran the pictures through Photoshop to tidy them up it up-issued the date to last modified, when i uploaded in to Dronedeploy it gives a more accurate date and time, or at least nearer than jan 2004 ha ha

yes especially since dronedeploy wont allow me to correct the date!
