    And here we go again...

I see you are sitting a large concrete surface. I would guess that the rebar inside the concrete is causing some issues. Take it out side and away from metal doors (garage doors), concrete slabs that may usually contain rebar (steel) and see if it still does the same. These things are super...

    How Close is Close

I'm on the east side (Speedway - Camino Seco area). Sound like a fun thing to do. Went flying in Reddington Pass last weekend. It was hot, but the worst were the dang gnats. Those little buggers can really annoy when trying to fly. I want to do more up on the mountains - Mt. Lemmon, Caltalina...

    How Close is Close

Wow. That is close! I need to do some testing to get used to the actual view that camera shows relative to actual position when objects are that close. There was a moment where it looked like for sure that the props would touch the fern (the one that hasn't opened yet) as you kind of went under...

    How Close is Close

Yes, our winds are of many extremes. I always use the palm trees as my gauge prior to flying. I'm the east side in what I call the "chute" as we always get the crazy whack monsoon cells over here as well during the season, that then get sucked over Reddington Pass.

St-16 reboots for no reason in flight and causes crash.

I agree as it could be a possibility. However I also tried very diligently to hit the home icon as well as the return arrow icon several times and the st-16 was totally unresponsive. I am going to try to re-create the symptom in the flight simulator module and see if I even can re-create using...

St-16 reboots for no reason in flight and causes crash.

Yes that is correct. As stated the last thing that was installed was the firmware to release the NFZ info. No other updates since that as there are no other updates since a few months ago.

St-16 reboots for no reason in flight and causes crash.

Could be as remembering exactly what happened is always a mystery. I could go with what you state here. :) I got very lucky in any case, I just needed to replace 4 of the shrapnel clips and 5 props.. Ran tests/diags on everything and it shows all green. Whew.

St-16 reboots for no reason in flight and causes crash.

One of the first things I checked when it came back up. Battery level was fine on the ST-16. In regards to the "rebooting" vs "rebooted" - I don't think it has any impact on meaning once someone reads the incident information. But appreciate the thought. :)

St-16 reboots for no reason in flight and causes crash.

Last Thursday (April 26th) we had flown and done several shots of a real -estate project. In the final and last segment, the controller (St-16) decided to reboot when trying to adjust exposure on the camera. The only problem, never even got close to the screen with finger to adjust such exposure...
