40 display drones taken down by GPS jammer...

If that turns out to be true the equipment will eventually spill past their borders and be a threat elsewhere.

Steve,

They are already here. Similar equipment has been previously sold to U.S. buyers via internet outlets. The FCC filed cease and desist orders and levied fines against the sellers a little over a year ago. Jamming 2.4, 5.8 and GPS frequencies is relatively easy and the principle was an early foundation of “anti drone” device creation.

The Las Vegas strip has jammers, as I’m told and they can exercise the use due to its law NRS 493.103 but the FAA is advising the casinos not to use it, because there has been incidents of drones hitting cars. Instead they passed a law NRS 493.103 - NRS 493.109

I kind would like to see Jammers in my worksite. This year, we have seen drones flying into our work zone, and it forces us to land (for extra precautions)

A certain very unpopular construction site which a state employee here has been documenting has been having his signal jammed via ATV's with large antennas. The technology is definitely here and being utilized.
