I tried to fly my typhoon in mountains yesterday would not even start flashed 8000 ft warning and I put it away didn't know that is there a fix for this

Yuneec recommends staying under 8000' under normal circumstances. You can get a firmware patch from them that will allow you to fly higher. When flying at higher elevations you will find the Q is less stable and must be flown much slower. As you pitch and roll the Q may tend to loose altitude. Also wind is a real problem. Many people do fly over 8000'. You just have to exercise caution.
