Advise please firmware

Hi,
As a total novice to quadcorpters, I bought my typhoon g a few months ago it has been flawless
In operation. ..not like me lol...I read about firmware etc, as being of old school I don't have a
P C ...just my ipad....I know I don't have the latest firmware, my queery is is it essential to update to
The new firmwares? ....thanks john

If it's working well with no issues, you should be fine to continue flying it as is. If you start experiencing problems, you may want to seek out a friend with a PC so you can update the firmware.
