As much as some people get in the way with their equipment in fire situations, the various fire fighting services have been researching and learning of the assistance they can provide. There has been some serious work developing an integration plan for larger, longer duration UAV's being used for hot spot observation, pinpointing water drops, and ground crew tracking. It's pretty neat to see the H being used too.
