Hi, new to the group and piloting a drone. I got a breeze 4K today and had a little run in with our entertainment Center in our Family room. Yes, dumb move trying to fly it in doors. Was hoping to just hover it but it floated away on me and down she went. Anyway, no damage was done from what I can see except one of the propellers was chewed up/scratched. I went outside with it after the crash, even though it was getting dark, and noticed that one of the rotors sounded off.

My question: would it sound funny because the propeller was bent/scratched up, or did the crash cause damage. It seemed to fly the same, but sounded different.

Thanks!

Yes if anything changes about the propeller so does the sound it makes, but especially if there is damage on the leading edges. As the airflow is interrupted by any nicks or folds that'll usually make it sound louder and more ragged. I'd change the prop.

If you run it with the damaged prop you could run into vibration problems that could waste a motor over time. Props are cheap, don't leave home without them....or fly without having spares. They are much cheaper than motors or the drone.
