Yes if anything changes about the propeller so does the sound it makes, but especially if there is damage on the leading edges. As the airflow is interrupted by any nicks or folds that'll usually make it sound louder and more ragged. I'd change the prop.

If you run it with the damaged prop you could run into vibration problems that could waste a motor over time. Props are cheap, don't leave home without them....or fly without having spares. They are much cheaper than motors or the drone.
