Camera cable?

Ive seen in several YouTube videos a small cable that goes from the camera to the drone & from the camera to the steady grip. Mine did not come with this cable. It seems to take videos & pictures just fine. What's the purpose?

If you have the newer version...the CGO3 has tabs now.

The cable is still supplied just in case there is damage done to tabs during a crash. Alternate method to hook up gimbal/camera if needed.

I think I'm going to avoid doing that. BUT it's good to know there's a backup, thanks
