So the other day I turn on the H and the gimbel started flipping and flopping everywhere very violently. Has anyone had this happen and how did you fix it?

Have you already checked the 6 contacts? Often one of the spring contacts becomes stuck down.

Have not had a chance to look at it yet I will later today though.

I had the camera off and the spring contacts look good.

Mine flops sometimes, almost like it is trying to stabilize but it got confused which direction to turn. Have you tried to assist it to find level?
