I bought a second Typhoon H and a CGOET Camera. When I try to bind the camera it says the Firmware is out of date. I Downloaded the firmware went through the process and it says "No Firmware on the SD Card" which is odd because when I put the SD card back in my computer the firmware is there.
Any ideas? can the firmware be updated with a direct connect to my PC?

Thanks Guys,
Art

If you opened the firmware file it will not be recognized.

Updates can be done directly connected to a computer using the GUI update function.

Typhoon is good, need the camera and gimbal to update.

I'm not aware of any firmware updates for the CGO-ET. Can you take a screenshot of the current firmware versions from "About Controller"?

Steve,
This is what I get.

Hmmm....strange version for the camera. I think you have a CGO-ET for the H520. The firmware for the H is different and you cannot change it. Where did you get the camera?
I presume you are not getting a camera image on the ST16.

This is what mine shows:

Yes I get the image. Just no control over the gimbal.
Would it be possible for you to send me the firmware .bin file that you use?

Art, the camera you have was made to use with the H520. You cannot use it on the H. There is no way to modify the firmware to make it work.

Will it work with the H+?

It worked on my H until I tried to update the firmware.

Just spoke to the guy I bought it from, he had it on the H 480.

So when you received the camera it worked on the H 480 until you attempted to update it and after that it no long connects.
Is that correct?

And where did you get the firmware you tried to load?

I notice the European websites list a similar (EU) firmware version for the H520. Any chance you tried to load H520 firmware on a CGoET meant for an "H"?

Do you have the URL to that download? I do not find it on the Yuneec US website.

Please share it when you are able to get the proper one for the H480 series.
