Conca San Leone near Mantua (Italy)

Conca San Leone, an artificial canal built in 1925 with 3 locks and 2 tanks of 125 meters and 101 meters long, 12.3 meters wide and 13 meters deep, which allow the nautical connection between the Mincio river and the Po river. The average difference in height between the two rivers is 3.5 meters.
The average crossing time is 8 minutes.
The Porta Vinciana (means door designed by Leonardo da Vinci) of the main lock has a weight of 80 tons.
