Connecting to CGO2GB+ from PC

I have connected to the CGO2 via Wifi to my sons laptop, and old Dell D620 with 5.8ghz wifi, but I cannot get it to connect to mine, a newer Dell N5110.

I have bought numerous usb Wifi adapters and all of them can find it, but none will actually connect - its says 'unable to connect to network'.
I note from the network list it is shown as Wireless 'a', but although I can see it, I cannot connect...

What am I missing?

I'm having the same problem trying to connect to a RCA Maven Pro tablet....is there a list of tablet that it is compatible with? i got it to work with my galaxy S5

I've connected well with my Note5, and the iPad quite well. I haven't tried a Macbook yet though. One thing I've found is that my phone or ipad wants connect to my home network instead of the CGO2, but other than that, no issues.
