Connection Lost

So yesterday I lost connection to my iPhone and the phone switched off!!
Still landed ok with the RC RTH worked fine.
Anyone lost connection?
Not sure if it was an app issue, phone issue, RC issue or the drone disconnected.

Mr. Big, I'm no expert, my phone can't be centered on the mantis controller. The controller fastening clamp is right next to off button. The q will fly until it' starts running low on juice and return home. The controller is small and I have hit that off button before fumbling all thumbs.
