I am about to charge up two brand new Gifi batteries I recently got (7500 and 6400). I made note of the battery status before starting so I can monitor them long term. I am using the Hitec X2 charger. I went through all its system settings and noticed 'Battery Capacity'. It was set to 5000 mAh. Does anyone know this charger and that setting? Because if I was using this setting to charge my Yuneec 5400 mAh batteries, was I charging them enough!?!
I have now set this to 7500 to match my new Gifi battery.
And is it true to not push new batteries in the first few cycles?
Going to be flying this weekend in -3 c temps (30 F).
Update; So the 7500 finished charging and ended up with 3792 mAh. Whats up with that !?
12.6 v and 17 over the 3 cells for resistance.
