Dirty Gimbal- Can It Be Cleaned?

Landed the Q500 on the beach and found the gimbal action (when off) sounding like there is sand in the pivots. Wondering how easy or hard it is to disassemble the gimbal to blow out the sand. Also note that the round adjustable weight on the gimbal seems bent. Can this be unscrewed off to verify?

Mine was just a bit more sever...
The rear balancer on my CGO2+ came off. It turns out it's just a "rubber nut" around a plastic post.
Mine went back on with a small amount of force pressing it back onto the post. I suspect your post is bent.Be careful so as not to break it off.
My bigger issue is there is another brass weight inside the CGO2+ that has fallen out.
I'm now trying to find the answer as to "What driver do I need to open the CGO2 ?"
