Hi All, Well as I predicted the effect of competition on DJI has started to hurt and the (expected) first opposition company there taking on is YES, Yuneec.

Well, there was the initial report on the 1st of April, that stated that Yuneec violated 2 of DJI's patents. One was for optical tracking, which Yuneec doesn't use, and the other is the removable camera. Yea, a hot shoe. There hasn't been much stated since. I have heard rumor that everything was squashed, but nothing official.

Hi equinator, thanks for your details. I have only just come across The Verge article states what you said
however you said that it was canned so yes, I think DJI just tried to rattle Yuneec's cage.
All interesting though about DJI I think they are worried about Yuneec but I do think that Yuneec are very professional in what they do
and are no dummies.
