Exif data significance to photographers??

I am still learning the ins and outs of the CGO3+ and saw that in the latest firmware exif camera data has been added. I'm not quite sure how this is used or useful for photographers creating HDR images? I can already merge two images manually in photoshop and gradient blend for a somewhat decent HDR image...is there some benefit with the exif data that I am unaware of or missing out on?

Thanks for any help!

The key improvement in the EXIF data was the addition of the location (GPS) information for geotagging.

Love the GPS data. Gonna try dronedeploy on a shoot later. Speaking of hdr I hope the next update adds auto exposure bracketing!

Adobe Lightroom uses EXIF data for the capture date to organise its library. I haven't flown with the new firmware yet but I am hoping they have included the date in the EXIF fixes.

Basically, complete EXIF data is important for a variety of reasons.

How can I view geotagging data of photos and videos with my H?
I have the most recent firmware updates. Thanks.

You review that data on your PC by bringing up properties of individual images.

You should try this tool as it does a lot more then just read the data.
