firmware updates onTyphoon 4k

Trying to follow Yuneecs' insructions, BUT...
Apparently, the drone itself has the most current version at 1.07.
However, when trying to update the radio, following the instructions (and online video's,) the Yuneec website shows the tx as 01b32 so downloaded that. Radio was at 1b24; after "update" it is now at v01b39c. What gives?
Also, put "update.zip" in the root directory of the SD card but it was ignored so "rf" file never came up!
"System update" did the usual Android robot taking stuff into it's body so I assume that worked but I have no way to verify that.

So how do I get an "RF" file and get everything the way they're supposed to be, please?

In addition to update.zip I had a directory called "firmware" containing "tx" and a .bin file under this, copy that entire "firmware" directory to the SD card, then it should show up under the "Radio Control Update" option

I did that and it does not show up on the -10.
