First Purchase of a Drone

So I am glad to finally join ranks as an owner of a drone. I have had an opportunity to test and demo several of the newer model drones that are out( 3DR Solo, 4k dji Phantom 3, both very very briefly). Yuneec makes it very simple to fly from the beginning. I hope to learn from some that have flown longer than myself.

Welcome and congrats! Take your time learning this awesome aircraft.

Learn about the LIPO batteries. It's really important to treat them properly. There's info here and all over the web.

And remember that if you start in smart mode the bird wants to be 25-30' away from you. Some have launched in smart mode while standing close and it runs into something because it's trying to get away from you. Take your time and read. Take baby steps and you'll be a successful pilot who shares beautiful videos.
