I'm worried I'm having to really use a lot of force to remove or replace the gimbal lock and I don't want to damage anything.
Is there a trick or knack to doing this easily?

Thanks

Hi Paul. I am of the same feeling as you, that the camera/gimbal lock isn't the best.ve looking at one that is sold on Ebay. It looks like the older one for the H480 that also covers the lens. I cant seem to find them here in Europe? I am thinking of shaving off maybe an eighth of an inch from the foam rubber pad as I think it should slide off easier then!!

They do fit tight but with the aircraft upside down they seem to install okay if you hold the half of the gimbal closest to the camera (firmly).
