Had my typhoon h for over a year, never crashed. the gimble is not responding to the st16. it will not even calibrate . I have gone on a lot of sites and tried all the minor fixes but still no luck. Anyone have a suggestion

First thing - do you have the Typhoon H with the CGO3+ camera and ST16 controller, or the Typhoon H Plus with the C23 camera and ST16S controller?

There are a couple of things that could likely be the problem, but first let’s check that the ST16 is generating the proper output signals before going into them.

Turn on the ST16 and once it finishes booting give the Volts icon a double tap. It will bring up a display that looks like this -

The tilt slider should change only CH7 from -100% (full up) to 100% (full down) +/-3.
The Pan Knob should change only CH8 from -100% (full right) to 100% (full left) +/-3.
The Tilt Mode switch is on CH9 and should read 10% (up & mid) and 100% (down)
The Pan Mode switch is on CH 10 and should read -100% (up), -40% (mid), and 100% (down).
Use the ‘back’ soft key to exit this display. Post your results.

The other issues range from a blown fuse in the aircraft to wiring problems from that point to the gimbal control board in the CGO3+. I’ll refer you to the CGO3+ section of the document in this thread

ok everything worked like you said still no respose

The good news is that the controller is functioning as it should.

Does the camera initialize to the level straight forward position on start up?

Does the camera power up and bind with the controller? Green LED indicator is on.

Can you take photos and record video? No need to be airborne to check this.

Did you do any of the continuity checks shown in Attachments 54 and 55 of the Way to Fix Drones document? Those will narrow down the trouble area. Make sure the spring loaded contacts on the drone side of the camera mount are not stuck down.

Have you had hard landings or close encounters with trees or bushes that could have affected the camera?
