Has someone tried yo build a li-ion custom battery?

Hi,

I have seen that Mavic Mini uses 18650 cells (Samsung 25R 18650 2500mAh 20A Battery) inside their battery pack.

Has someone tried yo build a custom battery for yuneec q500+/4k with this kind of cells?

In this cases, how much time does It flyes?

Li-ion 18950 cells are great but they can't produce the higher current needed to fly the larger aircraft. That is the advantage of a Lipo. Those can produce very high amperage when the load is suddenly increased such as rapid acceleration.

Steve Carr is right. You have to use a LIPO battery to replace the battery of the yuneec battery case or make or buy a custom case - adapter. As soon as I get my used drone in my hands (it is on the way to me, still) it is my first priority to check this modification. You can try searching for 3s lipo 5400mAh or more using filters for the dimensions needed in various stores. The more C the battery is the more current can supply, but I do not think you need more performance than usual
