Hi everybody! I recently picked up a "Typhoon G + CGO3" drone combo and am excitedly learning all the features & ability of this awesome craft. Best place to learn IMO is joining a forum of like-minded people!

Been flying drones for a few years, but this is my first pro-sumer grade quad. So far so good!

We get cold winters here (uug) can these things handle the cold? I just KNOW winter is going to creep up on me much faster this year now that I have this awesome fair-weather gadget..

I just joined too. It's the batteries that are the weak link in cold weather. They will just last a few minutes. The key is to keep them at room temp or warmer till the moment you insert them. I heard even putting a toe warmer inside the bay is helpful. But I have not tried that. I am from Ontario too.

Geez only a few minutes flying during cold winter weather?? Bummer

So I think one of the next things I need to buy is a good charger that can put the Lipo's into "storage charge mode" & hope they can survive a few month hibernation.. Yikes!
