HI guys can anyone point me in the right direction in regards to fixing my Typhoon H after it all of a sudden lost gps and doped out of the sky,
was on full battery both drone and st16 controller, I have fixed structural breakage's with a couple of new arms and new gps module.
and now for some reason I cant connect to the cgo3 after this crash, I have pulled the cgo3 apart to checked for any damage, it looked fine, I pulled the
connector plate from the drone to cgo3 off and checked the contacts, they were good, not damaged or pushed in, I pulled the carriage apart for the
mount between drone and cgo3 check for damage or loose wires, that looked good,
Have tried many of the fixes from factory reset and reinstall with no success, when uploading the software again the st16 controller updates fine both with
micro sd card and wifi, the Aircraft and cgo3 I cant install and software either via sd card ( it wont even detect the sd cards there to update or (wifi it says wifi is disabled, update failed), every time I go back and re-connect to wifi, I then go back to the main screen and the wifi disconnects every time so I dont know what is going on with that ??
The green light is off on the camera, the camera goes through the motions on start up and positions it self facing to the right instead of directly front, camera just wont start up or connect
cant get aircraft or cgo3 to show up on bind screen ???
Help needed in Australia :)
Thanks Guys

The good, is that you put a lot of information in your original post. The bad is that there is so much, it is hard to tell exactly what needs help.
Could you try again, this time leave out the things you have already tried (leave it in the original post so we can refer to it), and only list the things that do not work. Trying to separate the drone issues from the camera issues would be a great help. It would be much easier to find the right issues to pursue.
Especially clarify your statement "all of a sudden lost gps and doped out of the sky". Loosing GPS does not cause a "drop out the sky", although it can make things difficult to control. Is it possible you had a loss of power event, which caused both loss of GPS and "drop out of the sky" at the same time? Or did you mean something else?

If you could upload your flight logs, that would also be a help.

I think part of what you are saying is that the camera gimbal has power, but the camera WiFi does not. Is this correct?
If you have a Steadygrip available, you could try the camera on that, using a smart phone as a monitor, and begin to separate camera issues from drone issues.

I also did not see a clear mention of rebinding the craft after the ST16 update. Did you rebind everything before moving on to the camera and drone updates?

Also, please consider NOT doing any further updates until the real issues are identified. I doubt updates will help anything, and they could add significantly to the problems.

I am on East Coast USA (GMT-5), currently 10:30 PM Tuesday. Time zones are likely to play a role. Exactly which time zone are you in?

I do believe there's a member on here who runs an authorised Yuneec facility in Australia. Might be worth a search of the forum.

On the ST16, go to Pad mode, settings and open the wifi list. Do you see the camera listed in available wifi's?

Are you aware that you need to tilt the bird forward 45 degrees twice to get the led to flash orange.
When it does that it is in bind mode
Then go thru the binding sequence.
I have problems sometimes to get anything to show on the bind screen.
It usually works if I create a new model and then turn everything off and then recycle then when i tilt the bird I usually get the flashing orange and , hit refresh and they show up on the screen, then go thru the binding sequence.
Hope that works
Also make sure you select the cgo3+pro version of the camera
Also, check the operation of your sticks in the menu.
If not getting full movement indication you need to pull the 2 plugs from the back of the st16 and spray contact cleaner .
I use WD40 Specialist fast drying contact cleaner, got it from Bunnings ($18).Wiggle the sticks around and check in the menu again.
Not sure why it would just drop out of the sky.
Did you hear 2 clicks when inserting the battery, Only 1 click and it can dislodge causing total power failure
If you can get connected after all that don't forget to recalibrate
Also, check settings in the pad and make sure wifi turns on.
You may have damaged the wifi module or antenna wiring when you crashed
cheers
Pete

On page 47 of TYPHOON H USER MANUAL Vcho3-2.pdf it tells how to reset the flight data after a firmware update. This might help after the reset. Unless there were further hardware problems after the structural repairs I don't see why things shouldn't have worked as before.
