I want to take my Typhoon H with me on my motorcycle. The H's foam is too big to fit in my 58l Givi Outback Trekker Top Case.

I could cut it down to fit BUT I'd rather not as it fits nicely in the OEM hardcase backpack as designed.

So I want to create a foam liner to put in the top case. Since I do go off-road (Adventure Bike), It has to hold the H and ST16 firmly but needs to be able to absorb "shock" from bumpy, gravel roads...

Seems most of the places I go online don't have very good description of the foam. I don't want to just buy foam and "wrap" the bird and controller. I'd like something where I can set it in, kinda like the OEM foam. Even if it means using hot-glue to construct one...

So thoughts if anyone has done something like this? Places where I can get foam? Does the type of foam in the OEM case have a name? I also don't want the foam that comes apart like the foam used in the Q500 case. I found bits of that foam in the SD card slot in the camera. So I want to avoid that.

Why not use the pick n pluck foam? You can get it online
