How to Register your sUAV for Dummies

Can someone explain how to register a sUAV without providing the routine link that sends you around in circles. Dang, no form pops up or anything.. ..from what I gather, you have to contact your local FAA flight office to obtain AC form 8050-1, and then you have to mail it back to FAA. Could it be this difficult??
