I have a few questions about the Yuneec Q500 4K Typhoon.

1- What is its flight range? How high and far can it fly?
2- What can be done to increase the range? Some videos show them adding extra antennas; where can I buy these antennas?
3- I saw the Yuneec ST16/ST16+ Professional Remote Controller online; can this controller be used with the Yuneec Q500 4K Typhoon?
4- Does it have a better battery for longer flight times? Or can the batteries be replaced with more powerful ones?

1. Do you mean the range of the radio connection? Radio depends on different cases like flight elevation, antenna direction, environment ... I have had WiFi video drops at 800m, the 2.4GHz RC connection has much mor range, never testet limitations.
The settings for geofences can be changed in Q500 GUI app. I do not exactly remember if geofence is only for smartmode and not do not effect Angle mode (maybe user manual can help).

2. Google kex word "range extender yuneec q500" gives some results. I never had the nssd for this stuff.

3. You can use ST16 but you will not have more function or channels in use compared to ST10+. The ST16 has higher screen resolution but CGO3 not. This results in problems with video diplay (lags, green tiles in picture and so on - not helpful at all). And you will get error messages regarding missing sonar - annoying.
The only useful function is that you can unlock the Stability mode for manual flights by channel settings but with it you must still accept the above disadvantages.

4. I believe GiFi Power batteries have longer flight time. There may other supplier on the market. GiFi say, it have 7500mAh. But no one knows whether all advertising promises will be fulfilled. GiFi Power have good references.
No experiences from my side.

I don't know, never tried. I'm flying always in line of sight.

CGO2 or CGO2+: Very old and hard to find.
CGO3: Best choice.
GoPro Hero 3 or 4 with Gimbal GB203 and video transmitter MK58: I saw some cheap offers for this combination (GB203+MK58) when you have such an old GoPro, this would be a possibility.
