I really want!

That’s why my first Pro level drone was a FreeFly Cinestar. Bought used with their Radian 3 axis, servo driven DSLR gimbal for $11k in Canada in 2013. They’ve been making super high quality rigs and gimbals for a long time, and they stand behind them.

Uh, $17,495.00 because they can? That is obviously only the airframe & nothing else!
Please, can somebone explain how this thing can be more than a new small car?
The material costs alone could not/ will not come anywhere near that price point by its self (granted) the argument for R&D, marketing recouping costs etc!
Does this thing have some "magical" properties to justify a price like this?
Understandably this is obviously geared towards the "Cinema Industry" professionals.
Guess, by Hollywood standards it does not matter how much things are really worth? As long as it looks cool and does the trick/job, who cares how much it costs, eh?:);)?

It's available for professional filming and companies with deep pockets.
