I just installed toroids on both of my Typhoon Hs GPS leads to minimize possibility of interference. Easy task, but I was worried about the toroids resting on the circuit board{ I think it's the landing gear module}. I applied 2 sided tape lightly on top of board to insulate against chafing and possible shorts. I am now wondering if that was a good idea. It' kinda like putting a blanket over the board. I am worried about excessive heat build up. I am looking into what that board is. it does not seem to be marked like some of the boards are. I can easily remove the blanket if need be. It took me less than ten minutes from start to finish. I am not sure if the toroids are conductive or not. Any thoughts appreciated.

I wasn't sure if it would dampen the effect or not, but I think you might be right. That is better than risking heat build up. I'm over thinking things again. Thanks
If you have covered the board, uncover it.
Thanks for confirming my thought that it was a bad idea. I uncovered it first thing this morning.
