Is 3DR really going under?

I have a friend who bought a 3DR solo. It is what got me going about getting a drone. I did some research and was going to buy a used DJI phantom 3. But eventually bought the typhoon H. I have heard from three sources that 3DR is going under and fast. I told my buddy and he just refuses to believe it. Anyone know for sure?
