Middle Damper Missing After Repair

Sent my H+ to Yuneec for a repair and it was returned without the Middle damper. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Wondering if the middle damper serves a purpose or is more cosmetic to conceal the camera wires?

I think the damper is more for wire protection then actual dampening.
Not sure why they did away with the plastic cover they were using.

Update: After reaching out to Yuneec support, it was determined that it was sent in error without the middle damper. A return authorization was issued for a complete repair.
