Hey drone gurus! I pulled the plug on Facebook a month ago and I'm over the withdrawal symptoms now.

I think some of you gurus on this forum need to start some threads going to spice things up on here. #Steve Carr, #ParR, #Ty Pilot, #FlushVision, #rdonson, #Eagle's Eye Video etcetera.

I'm always up to stir the pot to get things going but I'm sure you moderators probably don't want that coming from me. Need a new drug and more of it on here!

Have you tried actual drugs ? Only kidding :) Well done for quitting FB - I was on that for a whole 2 hours before it annoyed me sufficiently to make me close my account.

Sometimes I think I should start some exciting threads on here, but then I remember they'd mostly be terrible whinging rants about all the places we're not allowed to fly, how difficult it is to find anything interesting to legally film from above, and why so many dogs feel the need to wee on my landing pad !

Sorry, I suspect I am just in a bad mood because I have to send my broken CGO3+ camera back tomorrow, so no flyings for me for ages, even if I can find somewhere to do it !

Evidently flying in the UK sucks. Google, Amazon, some other biz big wigs and the government are all trying to get rid of us fliers in the US.

I think your on to something about the rants though but not so much about the drugs. The political climate here in the US is becoming a powder keg. Many on one side want our democracy to become a socialistic regime.

As to the dogs peeing on your landing pad I'd recommend not marking everything with your own pee!o_O

I think we as fliers are going to be squeezed out of the airs by all the governments.

The new drug resumes Thursday, don’t it?

Jeff

Maybe in N. WI now, but still bleeding purple. Though if the weather is good for flying on Sunday’s, the DVR will be filling in for me.

And I thought it was just me that suffered from similar. I don't use a landing pad so the dogs choose to try and pee on my case instead. One time a dog decided that it would be wonderful to have a crap on my high vis vest that I'd put on the ground while I was packing up after a commercial gig. (the client though it was hilarious:rolleyes:)

Now I feel bad because I harassed AeroJ for peeing on his landing pad to mark his territory.

Been Failbook Free for several months now and it's great. I avoided it for years, but finally signed up on a "friend's" insistence. Made some more friends, probably lost even more, reconnected with childhood friends, and probably lost them again as well.

But, that's how it goes. Social Media is a bridge that connects people across diverse backgrounds and beliefs, but if there's one thing every bridge needs, it's trolls, and I loved to go trollololling on that bridge, but there's just too many whiney-babies on it
who can't appreciate a good trolling, so I left them to rot in their cesspool. Good riddance, peasants.

I only trolled after the "tolerant" political side peed in my oatmeal. Failbook, Goofy Search and Twitsers are now shadow banning and deciding who gets to play in the park and who doesn't. Didn't want to play that game anymore.

I'm an equal opportunity troll. Even if someone happens to have the same political/non-political/religious/non-religious beliefs as me, the same hobbies, same job, or is someone I have the utmost respect for, I will troll them regardless about something, because it's fun.

You and my son would enjoy trolling each other then
