I bought a Typhoon H that had 1 OEM battery. The prior owner said it flew fine. The battery looks to me like the none hard plastic sides bulge. It does NOT get stuck or even rub the battery compartment. It charges and balances with no problem. There is no heat that I can feel and when I press on the bulging sides, they are hard and do not move. Is the battery good, bad, or questionable?

From prior experience, I would look for replacement batteries. A battery should not have any signs of swelling. Usually what we do once a battery shows signs of swelling, it gets used as a test battery. Even if you can't find replacement batteries, there are a few posts on here that offer different types of battery set ups you can make yourself. I know the posts date a few years back, thinking pre 2019 posts? Seems to me there was also discussion about a battery tray. I had at one point a video saved on YouTube that was related to this. I will have a look and see if it is saved and post a link to it here.

Should you go this route, I felt this was a decent way to go.
