I can understand the booster for 2.4GHZ(remote control)But why did you use booster for 5.8GHZ on ST10+ Tx? The ST10+ is only receiving 5.8GHZ, or not?
If we hane video receiving problem
we slould amplify the camera's output(on the drone and not on ST10+).

Thanks

The camera commands for white balance, ISO, shutter speed, take photo, start/stop video, etc. are sent via the 5.8 GHz WiFi and the video stream is returned via the 5.8 GHz WiFi.

Glad to have you join YuneecPilots! You will find a lot of great information about your Q500 here, as well as many great pilots both commercial and hobbyist. We look forward to your interactions with the community.

If you talking about booster, what do mean? Something like Itelite? This is a better antenna which works/improves two-way. It's not an amplifier, only the antenna directional beam will be improved, means it will better receive and transmit the signals from this direction.

Also communication is two-way. You are right, the most IP-packets coming down from copter to ST10. But there is handshake thus some packets will go up plus those for control the camera.
