Proaction Steadygrip question

I purchased a proaction steadygrip for the CG02-GB camera. I have the CG03 camera. I downloaded the CG03 app on my Samsumg 7 phone. When I turn on everything the camera does not stabilize and when I try to login to the app on the phone I get a message saying "building".
To start with did I buy the wrong holder?

The description on the B&H website states that it does NOT work with the CGO3.

YUNEECCGO Steady Grip for CGO2-GB Camera / Gimbal

You need one of these (8-battery model):
CGO SteadyGrip for CGO Series Camera Gimbal System (with 8 cells)

Or one of these (LiPo battery model):
Yuneec CGO SteadyGrip (LiPo version) YUNCGOST102

These where designed for the CGO3; however, they work with the CGO3+ as well. I have both models, and they work with all 5 of my CGO3+s.

Thanks for the help. I guess the Hobby Shop in Miamisburg, Ohio was more interested in making a sale than making a happy customer. I have the wrong device for my camera.
