Hello, is there any way to set the altimeter to 0 from the place where you take off? If you are at a height of 10 meters with respect to point 0, the altimeter with the gps marks 10 meters, can you set it to 0 to find out how tall you are? Thank you

In theory the altimeter IS at 0 when you turn on, but due to a number of mechanical and physical factors that affect this value, there will be some variance before, during and after the flight, so trying to nail it to exactly 0 is a fairly pointless exercise as it will be constantly changing slightly whatever you do. It doesn't make a difference to the flight unless it's off by 10s of feet, in which case stuff might need recalibrating...

Each time you start the motors the altimeter is reset to zero. The reading tends to fluctuate with temperature changes as the inside of the H gets warmer sitting in the sun and from the internal electronics. Small changes in altitude are recorded by the accelerometers and large changes by the barometer. Barometric altimeters cannot be relied upon for accuracy.

Hola, porque tengo la sensación de que mi H toma el punto geográfico 0 y no desde donde lo enciendo.
